Here are five simple tips to get the most out of your Della mini-split this summer.
1. Set the Right Temperature.
Aim for 76-78°F for the best balance of comfort and efficiency. Every degree you raise the temperature can save you 3-5% on cooling costs.
2. Use Eco or Sleep Mode
- Turn on Eco Mode to reduce energy use at any time.
- Use Sleep Mode at night for quieter, more efficient cooling.
3. Create a Smart Schedule
Use timers to cool your home only when you need it. Program your unit to start cooling shortly before you arrive and to shut off after you leave.
4. Maximize Shade & Insulation
- Block the Sun: During the hottest parts of the day, close your blinds and curtains, especially on south-facing windows. This is the single most effective way to reduce heat gain.
- Seal the Leaks: Ensure all windows and doors are firmly closed to keep the cool air in and the hot air out.
- Use a Ceiling Fan: A ceiling fan creates a wind-chill effect that can make a room feel several degrees cooler. This allows you to set your thermostat a bit higher (e.g., 78°F can feel like 74°F) while feeling just as comfortable
5. Use Zoning for Efficient Cooling
- Adjust temperatures for each room, cooling only the spaces you're using.
- Save energy by turning off or raising temperatures in unused rooms.

Is that the way your unit supposed to work. Is that why it's called inverte? Constantly keep pumping cold air until it gets so cold that if you got it on auto then the heat turns back on and then when he cuts off the AC comes on then we need AC gets cold enough they he turns back on so I can't use Auto. Because it never shuts off it doesn't save energy. I'm using more energy with this damn unit that I was with the window unit. There's got to be something wrong with this head unit I've been complaining about it ever since we got it first it was the Wi-Fi then it's the well actually both of those been going on all along the temperature and not staying within the right temperature zone it's ridiculous and I've tried everything I got that app on my phone everything it just does never wants to shop please tell me this is not normal!!!!
And not only that I had this unit installed by professional AC man paid $1,100 for the installation. Plus the extra materials sort of my unit was installed securely the best way possible. Is this Aiden it ever shut off without me having to turn it off. It doesn't matter if it's on heat settings or AC he either keeps heating until it gets too hot and then the AC comes on or it keeps cooling until it gets too cool and then the heat turns on if I have it on.
Oh yeah and eco that don't really work. The machine still doesn't shut off when it gets too desired temperature.!!!!
